A wonderful Indian restaurant in Birmingham, Tarana offers up a wealth of tantalising flavours to locals and visitors to what is known by many as England’s second city.
Found on Station Street in the Birmingham city centre, just a stone’s throw away from the Birmingham New Street train station, Tarana is easily accessible from miles around and makes for a fine spot to conclude a day of activity.
Any dining experience at Tarana is only enhanced for those in possession of a tastecard, as members of the dining club are able to enjoy some superb savings on the dishes found on the a la carte menu, provided they call in advance and produce their card upon arrival.
Leaving very little to be desired for curry lovers of varying tastes, the food selection includes a wealth of Indian classics, including the fiery vindaloo, the mild & creamy korma, and the dupiaza that falls somewhere in between, that work alongside some personal favourites of the chef. Particularly enticing examples of such can be seen in the Tarana Jalfrezi, king prawns served sizzling with diced onions and green chillies, and the lembu murgh, a Bangladeshi lemon chicken number.
Whether it’s for a catch up with a close friend, a pleasant evening out with the significant other, a treat for a loved one or to conclude a day of retail therapy at the nearby Bullring Shopping centre in the enjoyment of some good food, Tarana extends a warm welcome to all that cross the threshold.
Please Note: The tastecard discount is not available throughout December, on Bank Holidays or on Celebration Days including, but not limited to, Valentine's Day, Mothering Sunday, Father's Day, etc. Dessert menu not included.
