Please Note: The tastecard restaurant discount allows members an exclusive restaurant offer of 50% off the starters, mains and desserts served on the a la carte menu, as well as on Ed's Junior Menu, 7 days a week; except in the Birmingham Selfridges branch, where it is available Sunday to Friday. Ed’s Easy Diner Mains are Solo Burgers and Foot Longs, All Day Breakfasts, Superbowl Salads and Diner Favourites. Sides will be charged at full price. The offer is available on the breakfast menu, but cannot be used in conjunction with the Bottomless Breakfast offer. The restaurant discount is available for a maximum of 6 diners per tastecard and there is no facility for booking, although we ask you to mention to your server when being seated that you intend to use your tastecard. The tastecard restaurant discount is not available on bank holidays or celebration days – including, but not limited to, Valentine’s Day, Mothering Sunday, Father's Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The tastecard restaurant discount cannot be used in conjunction with any of the other restaurant vouchers, offers, deals and discount codes, and the discount is also unavailable on Ed's Bundle Deals. We believe that this is also a fantastic opportunity for our restaurants to assess feedback, and if necessary make improvements and take feedback on-board. Previously, if members wished to review a restaurant they were likely to visit another website to do so. This may have meant that the reviews were less accessible to yourselves, as restaurateurs, and thus you would have been less likely to act upon the review, be it good or bad. By offering the review service on our site we believe that restaurants will benefit from having feedback from our members in one place.
If you object to a review on our site, we will remove it. However, our research has indicated that members are far more likely to visit a restaurant if there are a number of balanced reviews than if all reviews are positive. Please bear this in mind when reading the reviews; if a restaurant only has great reviews then our members are far less likely to trust the reviews and thus are likely to dine elsewhere.
