2 for 1 at Slice of Sicily

Bringing the true flavours of one of Italy’s most famous regions, Slice of Sicily has become known as one of the best places for dining out in Preston for foodies. The friendly eatery started life as a gourmet Italian food deli, but soon owner, Ettore, couldn’t resist his passion for cuisine, offering some of his favourite dishes to his ever-growing base of loyal customers.

Restaurants in Preston don’t get much friendlier than Slice of Sicily. One of several branches, the Penwortham eatery has been designed around the same principle — to create a space where diners can enjoy good food and conversation and leave their cares behind. Best of all, its laid-back atmosphere makes it ideal for any occasion, from eating with the family to catch-ups with friends.

The charming bistro is one of the best restaurants in Preston for relaxed meals and can be found just off the A59. Guests will find a welcoming space with shelves stocked full of olive oils, sauces, pasta and other treats which can all be purchased to take home. Staff are also very friendly and will make everyone feel right at home whether they’re meeting friends or have the kids along.

With its selection of pastas, pizzas, quality wine and gluten-free options, it’s easy to see why Slice of Sicily is one of the best Italian restaurants around. Diners will find many classics such as bruschetta, ricotta-stuffed cannelloni and margherita pizzas. Coeliacs can also enjoy gluten-free dishes such as spicy diavola pizzas, bolognese and even cheesecake.

Serving up authentic dishes and warm hospitality, Slice of Sicily is a must for Italian food lovers. This unique experience will be even more of a treat for tastecard members who can enjoy exclusive restaurant savings when they call to book ahead and present their cards upon arrival. It’s a good chance to indulge in a bottle of wine, coffee and tiramisu or a starter to two to share with friends.
