Welcome to the Celebrity Restaurant, serving fine Indian cuisine on the busy thoroughfare that is Broad Street and Brindley Place.

I told the waiter that I am pure vegetarian so he suggested me two dishes and ordered them but he served me prawns instead of paneer and I actually took a bite of it. I am not vegetarian by choice only I am vegetarian by birth by religion. On above this when I got angry on the manager he started shouting on me. They don't even know how to treat their customers they don't know how to compensate for their mistakes. Worst experience of my life. "

The staff were friendly and not intrusive and the menu was varied and mouthwatering. The restaurant itself was spacious and you didn't feel squashed in like you can in some restaurants. When the food came it was fresh,well cooked and very tasty. I had the mango and chilli fish starter and I have to say it was one of the best starters I have ever had. We would definitely recommend this restaurant and when we return to Birmingham we won't be going anywhere else! "

The surroundings were pleasant, staff extremely helpful and the food probably the best Indian food I have eaten. You can use your tastecard on a Friday evening here unlike many neighbouring establishments. For £15 a head (with tastecard) we had 2 courses and a Cobra each - amazing considering I had a crab aur puree starter and my husband a fish amritsari and after that we had lamb tikka stir-fry (delicious) and Tandoori king prawn masala with a huge amount of king prawns. 10% service charge is added to the bill but the service was so good we were happy to pay this. Best of all this restaurant is a few yards away from the Birmingham Symphony Hall! "

    Have visited this restaurant 3 times over the last year and every visit has been perfect. Book table over the phone with mention of tastecard - very easy and smooth. Restaurant always has your table ready and never makes you wait. Atmosphere is very relaxing, personal and intimate. One section near bar is more lively and sociable, if that is what you are looking for. Tables available for 2 up to large groups of 8/10. Always go for the Prawn Aur Puree - it is amazing!! Butter Chicken is not on the menu but the chef will cook it up for you, slightly sweet but it is lovely. Highly recommend this restaurant. "

For £15 a head (with tastecard) we had 2 courses and a Cobra each - amazing considering I had a crab aur puree starter and my husband a fish amritsari and after that we had lamb tikka stir-fry (delicious) and Tandoori king prawn masala with a huge amount of king prawns. 10% service charge is added to the bill but the service was so good we were happy to pay this. Best of all this restaurant is a few yards away from the Birmingham Symphony Hall! "

    Have visited this restaurant 3 times over the last year and every visit has been perfect. Book table over the phone with mention of tastecard - very easy and smooth. Restaurant always has your table ready and never makes you wait. Atmosphere is very relaxing, personal and intimate. One section near bar is more lively and sociable, if that is what you are looking for. Tables available for 2 up to large groups of 8/10. Always go for the Prawn Aur Puree - it is amazing!! Butter Chicken is not on the menu but the chef will cook it up for you, slightly sweet but it is lovely. Highly recommend this restaurant. "
