Austin:"Great cocktails, wine n waiting staff. Great front of house of staff. Had some teething problem with our experience. Coffee cold but rapidly corrected and made a new one. Then two soups u could tell watered down and thinned out to make two. There was no heat in one and other was warm. No same soup gave it away (just wanted it hot). Mains came my 2x burger were on the well done side and am sure missing onions but no menu to confirm. By now we must be worst table in restaurant n waiters fed up. However cocktail half price n wine were realy good. £30 saved but would of like good food. Bbq sauce just got to try amazing."

Saskia:"A Quick Bite With Family We normally go to Joes Kitchen in Ludgate and find the service excellent.
Today, in York, we were extremely disappointed in the laisser faire attitude of the staff.
There were only 3 of them on a busy lunch time admittedly. However we had to wait 15 minutes for them to bring an extra plate (for our toddler). One of the times I went to the staff myself for the plate but was told to sit down, only to wait a further 10 minutes for said plate.
When I asked for the bill and went to pay in person (we were in a hurry to get to a tour at the yorvik dig)and I was told to go back to my table and they would bring the bill.
At this time the restaurant was actually empty again so I didn’t see the difficulty. However we had to wait a further 15 minutes for the bill.
I went to pay in person again (we, a family of 6, were all ready with coats on)and the staff said have you now got the bill you would like to pay?
Again I said that I hadn’t and so had to wait a further 8 minutes while 3 members of staff struggled to produce a bill."
