" My wife and I visited the restaurant on Saturday evening, I ordered the haddock and my wife ordered the roast cod loin with ratatouille and roast potatoes. Firstly when I cut into my fish , I was horrified to find that the skin had been left on, and in my opinion was undercooked. My wife’s supposedly roast potatoes were in fact boiled with the skin still on and weren’t even cooked properly and she couldn’t even get the knife into some of them. The manager came to the table, I told him of my concerns about the skin being on the fish and that the menu should say that it is served that way, so that customers are aware of this before ordering, and my wife’s roast potatoes were not roast potatoes, they were boiled and then put in the oven for a few minutes, I was told this by the manager , and this is what Brewers Fayer classify as a roast potato. This is not the way to roast a potato and as such are wrong in being advertised that way. The manager just argued with me and said he doesn’t write the menus , he only works there. The whole evening was ruined , and was a very disappointing experience. "
