Beefeater first fired up the grill in 1974, opening their doors to The Halfway House in Enfield. 40 years on, they can now boast over 160 restaurants nationwide.

The combination of great steak, friendly service and relaxed surroundings first made Beefeater a big hit in Britain in the 1970’s, 1980’s and 1990’s, and today is no different. Their customers continue to tell them that it's their local smiling team members that make them return time after time.

Please Note: 1. The tastecard restaurant deals entitle the holder to 2 for 1 on all courses (Starters, Mains, Puddings) from the main restaurant food menu (excluding Sharers, Sides, Sauces & Upgrades) upon presentation of a valid tastecard. 2. Only one card per party is redeemable. The maximum party size is six. A minimum purchase of two main meals is required. The tastecard must be shown to server when ordering and presented when bill requested. The cheapest menu item selected per course will be free. Drinks are not included in this offer and will be charged at full price 3. Mother's Day Set Menu, Sunday Lunch Menu, Daytime Saver Menu, Evening Value Menu, Breakfast and the Premier Inn Meal Deal are excluded from the offer. 4. the 2 for 1 restaurant deals cannot be used with any other offer, promotion or voucher, including the Whitbread Privilege card. 5. The restaurant offers cannot be exchanged for cash, they are non-transferable and must not be reproduced or copied. 6. The tastecard restaurant discounts are not available on bank holidays and celebration days including, but not limited to: Valentine's Day, Mothering Sunday, Father's Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. 7. All rights remain with the promoter who reserves the right to withdraw the offer at any time and without prior notice. The decision of the manager is final.

    The most horrible experience I have ever had in a restaurant 1 was seated at the back door were people were coming in and out of every couple of min asked to be moved yes they moved us across from back door 2 ordered our drink no problem 3 they take our order when it came it was wrong stake was raw asked for well done 5 chips on the plate asked for skinny fries they brought us tick chips and only 5 of them to a meal peppercorn sauce was more like milk had no taste to it 4 three of the four meals we ordered were cold and swimming in fat disgusting asked for the food to be taken away them up come the skinny chips we ordered instead of thick but we had no meal to go with them as we asked for the meals to be removed to cap it all of they still presented us with a bill and said hope to see you again soon the cheek of then NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS WILL WE BE BACK "

When received there was no Marie sauce on the prawns and the loaded skins were just made with cheese, no onion or bacon. We ate this but pointed it out to the server who apologised and informed the manager, Matt. He came over to ask about the meal we told him. He said he would sort something for us. We both then ordered the beef burger stack. These arrived and went to put some sauce on the burger only to find it was charred beyond black. The manager was called again and he was not impressed with these at all and went straight to the kitchen to have words with the chef. We then had to wait for another meal to be cooked. By this time I was not as hungry but when it arrived it was lovely. We were asked if everything was ok and it was. The manager sorted this all out for us in the end and we received a big discount. Thank you to the in house staff for your kind consideration. We will return and hope next time is better. "
