This was the first experience of using my taste card. The menu offered was quite limited but some good choices available. Two of us where dining and we both had the ribeye steak. The steaks were cooked perfectly. No garnish, a few fries and any vegetables where extra. If it wasn’t for the taste card, we would of been very disappointed. Our server was very efficient and friendly, but the ambience and feel of the place was bland. "

My partner and I went here on tuesday late after noon / eveing service prior to going to the theatre the hotel lobby and communal areas was very pleasing on the eye and as for the smell it was I would say it reminded me of a retirement village complex to a few years ago.

Now about the food we decided not go for the full 3 course meal but sadly that now was a bad idea as my partner had the Duck starter and the Lamb cutlets for main.

let's just say for the lamb I have seen less fat in a deep fat fryer than the lamb cutlets and the duck well ... it was due to be served warm but like what the wether has been the last few days it was cold and tough

Myself having the "crispy" squid well the word "crispy" is a understatement to say the least.

it was soggy and could not even salvageable from the 4 "AAA" sized battery sticks and I had the pork lion that also was disappointing as it was stone cold.

So all in for a meal that was due to be al la carter and cooked fresh was a complete waste of time and money as when we both spoke to our waiter the reply we received was " if you don't like our food maybe you should decide to dine at a alternative restaurant.

In conclusion unless you are willing to pay for bad service cold food and fatty food I would highly recommend going here such a shame as it left my partner and I with a very sour taste in our mouth and spoilt the rest of our evening out at the theatre. "
