    The cheesy garlic bread was undercooked as the base was flimsy.

    I ordered the £22 sirloin steak. It came with chips a mushroom and tomato. The steak was cooked correctly but lacked any taste. I been given the little ends in the pack of frozen chip packet. My partner ordered the £14 minute steak which literally came with just chips. No garnish. Her chips were slightly better but she left most of them. The side of onion rings were soggy.

    I overheard another table complaining and they had their 2 steaks refunded off the bill.

    At no point did we’re we asked by the waiter if we like our food. He was attentive in every other way however I think he was embarrassed by what he had to serve.

    Luckily the bill was missing the drinks and we only paid half price otherwise I would most definitely complained as is was not worth the menu price.

    The restaurant was quiet for a bank holiday and only had part of it open.

    I don’t know who was cooking the food but they need some additional training and I would recommend employing them in a more suitable role.

    I won’t be going back here for a few years at least. "

    The whole evening was ruined but the manageress did her best to alleviate the situation by taking the price of the mains and the starter off our bill.
    Also the atmosphere was dismal.
    Cannot honestly recommend this restaurant. "
