Keri:"Good food but slow! We visited on a Friday evening and the restaurant was very quite. Despite the fact there was only one other diner we waited over 40 minutes for our starter. Despite the delay, once the food arrived it was good quality & the portions were good.
On another note the range of soft drinks was poor."

John: " I have been to Oliver's on many occasions in parties ranging from 2 to 8 and except on one occasion, when the liver was a tad overdone, I have been pleased with the service and the food.
The Afghan chicken a 'no brainer ' starter for me.
The staff have always been refreshing efficient and we have always been delighted with the value for money."

Food:"Average Was ok, service quite slow and often needed reminders about drinks we ordered. Very hot, no air con or fans on a hot day. Food was ok, starters were lovely- I had the prawns. Wouldn't pay full price for the food but was ok for the price we paid. Had lemon cheese cake for desert, when it came frozen i asked for a non frozen bit, the waiter returned a few mins later (after agreeing it shouldn't be frozen) to say it was an ice cream cheese cake?! Overall ok and was very simple to
use the taste card, would we go again? (We were a party of 8) no probably not, would rather go to the marsh harrier for the same price."
