Maharani at 109 Camden High Street first opened their in 1963. For more than forty years their family has been serving quality Indian cuisine to the growing Camden community. Their growth and continued success is due to three family values: Hard work, quality food and their effortless commitment to good customer service.
At Maharani, they only use fresh ingredients and quality spices. All of this is prepared with care and the same attention to detail as you would expect in a traditional Indian family home. They take pride in their reputation as an established family business, this is what they believe sets them aside from other Indian restaurants.
At Maharani, they have acknowledged that times are changing and the diversity of the Camden community is also rapidly changing. Due to this they have recently refurbished Maharani Indian restaurant and re-branded it as 'Maharani Camden'.
As well as refurbishment to the décor, Maharani has also focused their menu to bring a mix of traditional and contemporary dishes. They hope that the change will keep them in the forefront of Indian cuisine as it continues to evolve in Britain.

" Most of the food was tasty, lovely atmosphere and great service. Portions were small for the price. Ordered the mix grill, all was perfect but the lamb sheek kebab tasted odd! Advertised 50% off total bill, however this didn’t include the drinks!"

Jack:"Missed Opportunity ! Common guys, you can get a new client to your empty restaurant, I told you I am local and it is my first time in this restaurant why being cheap with me.
The first courts was mainly sauce and very little tiny pieces of scallop for £5.95 and the main course again lots of such and tiny pieces of shrimps. Overall a lot of sauce , rice and bread and no meat! Yes I did use the taste card but it was embarrassing food serving, felt like a vegetarian restaurant .
I guess first and last visit. Shame as I live around the corner."

Paul:"Lovely Food, Bad Service Really tasty, quite nice atmosphere. They'll charge you a fortune for popadums so say no. And don't feel pressured to pay their crazy high service charge."
