50% off at Elements Restaurant

Southend attracts tourists from all over the UK with its amusement parks, stunning beaches that stretch over seven miles and prime shopping destinations. But it’s restaurants like Elements that are putting it on the map for world-class cuisine. Based in Rendezvous Casino in the stunning Grade II listed Kursaal building, this is dining out in Southend at its finest.

Places to eat in Southend don’t get much better than Elements. The restaurant is just a stone’s throw away from the sea and would make a fine place to unwind after visiting Southchurch Hall, Southend Pier Museum or the gardens. It’s also perfectly situated for impromptu meals after work with friends as Southend Central and Southend East stations are both a fifteen-minute walk away.

The grand Elements is very impressive and is proof that the classics never go out of style. The restaurant features a refined traditional look throughout with its elegantly-draped curtains, framed Klimt prints and plush carpeting. It’s no wonder why its regarded as one of the finest restaurants in Southend.

With head chef David Jarrett at the helm, Elements dishes are second to none. In fact, they go a step further than many international restaurants, carefully selecting fine produce like Buccleuch Scotch beef for their tender steaks. And while their steaks are tempting, there are many of diverse options like grilled lemon sole, Asian-spiced Barberry duck with pak choi and venison with celeriac puree.

Whether it’s a date night or a dinner party, a meal at Elements won’t be easily forgotten. Any occasion will be even more of a treat for tastecard members who can look forward to exclusive restaurant savings when they call to book ahead and present their cards upon arrival. It’s a good chance to treat themselves to a bottle of red wine, dessert or a starter.

" The food is of a very good standard offering excellent value for money. We have eaten here on a regular basis for the last 13 years. They also offer a budget "Club Menu" on week nights but the card can only be used on the main Al s Carte menu.
The staff are very attentive and ensure everything is as it should be.
On some evenings the casino provide entertainment as well as the normal gaming. On a Monday night they provide a vocalist and hold a "dine & dance" in the restaurant. With no additional charge you just pay for your meal.
They also have a Fahrenheit Bistro for a quick bite. This is also very popular. "
