Sheray Punjabi has recently been refurbished to the highest standard in which you can sample their cuisine in opulent surroundings. The food here is cooked in a style different to anything else in the area, it is authentic Indian cooking with a home style flavour.
The house speciality is the hot and spicy Balti Chilli Masala, but there is a varied menu to choose from, all of which is very reasonably priced. They have ensured that there really is something for everyone.
For example, Janter Manter — bite-sized pieces of chicken tikka cooked in a specially prepared sauce with green peppers, mushrooms, onions and pineapple blended with warm spices giving an exciting dish of medium to slightly hot strength. Or what about Makkhani Masala — kebabs cooked in a mild, buttery sauce with cashew nuts?
For those who like their meals less spicy, why not sample Sheray Punjab's Special Korma with its fresh creamed coconut, fruit, nuts and raisins? It’s sweet and creamy with a real nutty taste.
