Leo:"Disappointing I ate here several years ago before having a taste card and found it to be okay, however I had a less than pleasant experience when I returned recently.
I decided to give my newly acquired taste card a try and they appeared more than happy to accept it with a gracious smile. Good start I'm thinking. But then another couple sit at the table next to mine about 10 minutes after we ordered our meal. 20 minutes later our neighbours get their first course and we are still waiting for the exact same first course another 15 minutes. I also glanced around the room to see we are the only table not been offered complimentary prawn crackers? Then a member of staff comes over and informs us we are not able to have the 50% off on any of the sharing platters. Okay, now I'm feeling a little uncomfortable and my first course arrives, it was more of an a la carte portion at best. Not to worry the main course will surely make up for it. Errrm nope.
The first thing that strikes me is the smell. Not exactly appetizing but hey I'm here now. For the first time in a very long time I had to leave a good portion of food on the plate, not because of the volume but because I simply couldn't pallet anymore. I asked for the bill as I really wanted to get out of there as I felt really uncomfortable. 20 minutes later and the bill still hadn't arrived. I ended up having to seek out someone to pay. The next bit I have chosen to omit from this review but it left me feeling like I made a big mistake going there. It's a shame as the staff are on the whole very friendly but I got the distinct impression there was a lack of involvement once there was a taste card brought into the mix. I won't be going back anytime soon."
