Sat in a beautiful Grade II listed building that can be found at the heart of the scenic coastal town of Bridlington, the Lamp Restaurant is a wonderfully charming restaurant that promises all who enter some scrumptious British fare. Named for the original Victorian lamp that sits in an idyllic rear courtyard, the Lamp Restaurant extends the warmest of welcomes to all that cross the threshold. All of the food at the Lamp Restaurant is created using only the best seasonal ingredients that are sourced locally where possible and are available to tastecard members at a fantastic discount when they call in advance and produce their card upon arrival. This allows them the perfect excuse to sample that little bit extra, such as a starter from a selection that includes a scrumptious game & cranberry terrine and a flavoursome beer battered Stornoway black pudding, or a further drink or two from the well-stocked bar. The bread & butter at the Lamp Restaurant however can certainly be seen in the hearty main courses that are available, with visitors able to enjoy one from a mouth-watering collection of dishes. Particularly enticing examples of such can be seen in the succulent sirloin steak, accompanied by a black pepper butter, vine tomatoes & homemade chips, a delectable creamed wild mushroom & leek fricassee, served with spinach & a garlic polenta cake, and a divine baked fillet of haddock, which comes complete with crabmeat stuffing, wilted spinach and a Newburg sauce. Whether it's for a small family celebration, a catch up with some close friend, a casual evening out with the significant other, or for a bit of respite amidst a day of exploration and activity on the coast, all are catered for at the Lamp Restaurant.
