Here's the movies we're excited about this month.

In one of the best performances of the year, Renee Zellweger puts on a memorable show in Judy. A biopic of The Wizard of Oz’s star Judy Garland, the film focuses on the Hollywood star’s turbulent life. Set in 1968 London where Garland performed sold-out shows at the Talk of the Town nightclub, Judy meets her soon-to-be fifth husband, Mickey Deans. 30 years post her childhood fame, witness Garland’s romance, friendships and struggles.

Taking on an icon, the 2019 rendition of Joker is deeply dark and sinister. Clown by day, failed comedian Arthur Fleck is disowned, bullied and mocked by the world around him. Looking and struggling for some kind of place, his turbulent descent begins, which ultimately lands him his villain title as the Joker.

Maleficent: Mistress of Evil.

The follow up to the first Maleficent film, Maleficent: Mistress of Evil tells the tale of a new, powerful queen who comes between Maleficent and Princess Aurora. Together they team up to take on new enemies and form new allies to protect their lands. Catch it in 3D for the full cinematic experience.

Official Secrets.

Based on true events, Official Secrets recalls when British Intelligence Specialist Katharine Gun received a memo from NASA. The memo stated that the US were calling on Britain to gather secret information about U.N. Security Council members in order to blackmail them into voting in favour of invading Iraq. A true story of unravelling deceit and defying the powers that be with a star-studded cast.

The Addams Family.

Back for another instalment of gothic family escapades, The Addams Family return in an animated addition to the franchise. But trouble shows up when TV personality, Margaux Needler, has a cunning plan that the Addams Family unknowingly stand in the way of.
