This restaurant offers the 2 for 1 discount which applies to starters and main courses, excluding all side dishes and sundries inc. rice, breads and poppadoms. The discount is also not available on bank holidays or celebration days - including Valentines day, Mothering Sunday and Father's day. Situated in the heart of Kettering, a short distance from the Kettering North Railway, is the charming Red Rose Restaurant, which serves up a myriad of mouth-watering Indian dishes. There are plenty of starters to kick things off, with traditional tried and tested favourites like the rich quarter of Tandoori chicken and the beloved vegetable pakora. Those who desire more extravagant appetisers will be impressed by the gourmet starters, including the tantalising Machli Pakora, deep fried balls of tuna and spice infused tuna, and the succulent scallops, Canadian scallops pan seared and accented with sea salt and a sweet chilli lime sauce. Carnivorous guests will be utterly spoiled for choice when it comes to selecting a main dish, as the Red Rose presents a plethora of specialities. Some truly delectable options include the spicy Tandoori Duck Bombay, complete with a whole boiled egg and potatoes, the inferno conjuring Tengshi, chicken or lamb cooked in a hot and sour sauce, and the divine Monkfish Saffron, a fairly spicy dish enriched with the king of all spices. Herbivorous diners are also treated to an extensive menu, even if they aren't as liberal to include seafood as acceptable, with scrumptious choices like the Mango Korma, cooked in an almond flavoured sauce and available with vegetables or poneer cheese, the refreshing Bhindi Kondokhana, prepared with okra and yogurt, and the fiery Aloo Dansak, sweet and spicy combined with lentils. After a delectable meal, athletic diners can find the Kettering Swimming Pool and the Kettering Golf Club nearby to burn off a few calories, or alternatively they can work themselves out with a lengthy shopping spree at the bustling Newlands Shopping Centre.
