Winter Wins | Terms and Conditions

  • The promoter of the competition(s) (“prize draw(s)”) is Ello Group Limited (“Ello”, “we”, “tastecard”) of Birkby Grange, 85 Birkby Hall Road, Birkby, Huddersfield, HD2 2XB.  For more information about Ello and its group of companies, please refer to our general Terms and Conditions.
  • By entering into any of the following prize draws, you accept these terms and conditions.
  • The prize draws are open to UK residents aged 18 or over, excluding our employees, their immediate family, or any person or company associated with the draw.
  • All prize draws (excluding social media competitions; Gourmet Burger Kitchen, Ed’s Easy Diner & Bella Italia) are for tastecard members only and winner(s) will be chosen at random, and a check will be performed to ensure winner is a current, valid tastecard member ahead of the issue of the prize.
  • For all social media competitions (Gourmet Burger Kitchen, Ed’s Easy Diner & Bella Italia), tastecard membership is not a requirement, but other requirements outlined above and in the below competition specific terms and details must still be met.
  • Late, invalid or incomplete entries will not be considered, and we accept no responsibility for lost entries.
  • The prizes are non-transferable and there are no cash alternatives. We reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value at any time.
  • The winner(s) will be chosen at random from all qualifying entries. Please see below for individual prize draw timescales. The result is final, and no discussion will be entered concerning the outcome.
  • The prize draws close at 11:59pm on 12.12.2023. Entries received after this date will not be considered. (This excludes the Cineworld draw which closes at 11:59pm on 24.12.2023).
  • The personal information and contact details you supply in relation to the prize draws will be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
  • We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions or to cancel, alter or amend the draws or the prizes due to any circumstances that arise beyond our control.
  • The prize draws are subject to the laws of England and Wales.

Terms, conditions, and further details for each individual prize draw can be found below. These are in addition to the above over-arching terms for Winter Wins, our general Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy.

Prize 1: Cineworld
  • The prizes are:
    - Main Prize: 1x family holiday to Disneyland Paris for a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children aged 2 years to 11 years old).
    - Runner Up Prize: 1x box of ‘cinema goodies’ provided by Cineworld. This contains vouchers, free tickets, sweet treats, and movie merchandise.
  • The main prize must be claimed, and travel commenced before 01.05.2024.
  • The main prize includes:
    a) Return Standard Class Eurostar transfers from London to Paris (indirect, change at Lille).
    b) Return private transfers from the station to hotel.
    c) Three (3) nights’ 3* accommodation at Disneyland Paris sharing a family room.
    d) 4-day park tickets to Magic Kingdom and Disney Studios.
  • The main prize does not include the cost of travel to and from the winners home and London St Pancras, which shall be the responsibility of the winner. Any other costs and expenses in taking up the main prize, excluding those set out in the terms above, shall be at the winner’s expense.
  • This Prize is non-transferable or exchangeable, cannot be redeemed for cash and cannot be redeemed in conjunction with any other special offer. There is no cash alternative or refund for any unused portions of the prize.
  • We reserve the right to replace the main prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond our control makes it necessary to do so.
  • The runner up prize will be posted to the runner up within 7 working days of them accepting the prize and confirming their delivery address via tastecard’s customer service team.
  • Entry into this prizes draw is through the purchase of tickets or snacks for Cineworld via tastecard between 00:00am on 01.12.2023 and 11:59pm on 24.12.2023.
  • One entry into the prize draw will be given per purchase made during the designated timescales, regardless of purchase value.
  • This prize draw closes at 11:59pm on 24.12.2023.
  • The winner will be selected at random from all successful entries on or before 05.01.2024 and contacted by tastecard’s customer service team.
  •  The winner may be asked to take part in reasonable and related promotional publicity.
  • Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion may be passed on to third party suppliers only insofar as required for fulfilment/delivery/arrangement of the prize.
  • Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
  • As well as the above outlined terms and conditions, entrants/winner(s) will be bound by the following terms from the prize supplier, Cineworld:
Additional Terms & Conditions from Cineworld:
  • The prize includes: Return Standard Class Eurostar from London to Paris (indirect service, change at Little), return private transfers – Station / Hotel, 3 nights’ 3* Disney hotel accommodation sharing a family room, 4-day park entrance with travel insurance.
  • Unless otherwise stated the prize offered is for 2 adults and 2 children (2-11 years) travelling together, two of which must be aged 18 or over.
  • The experience is not permitted over Christmas, New Year, or any bank holidays. Travel must be completed before the 01.05.2024.
  • All experiences must be completed within the timeframe stated in the promotional terms. Extensions to the validity of the package will not be allowed.
  • All dates and locations are subject to availability.
  • The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any events beyond its reasonable control including the withdrawal of, or amendment to, any restaurants, hotels, activities, events, or retail items. The Promoter and it’s appointed Agents will use its reasonable endeavours to supply suitable alternatives in such circumstances. No refund will be offered.
  • All bookings must be made through the Promoters appointed Agent who will contact the prize-winner to organize the booking.
  • This prize is non-transferable or exchangeable, cannot be redeemed for cash and cannot be redeemed in conjunction with any other special offer. There is no cash alternative or refund for any unused portions of the prize.
  • In the event of cancellation, the winner or any other participant will not be entitled to claim any refund or replacement prize.
  • All bookings must be made a minimum of 6 weeks (42 days) in advance of travelling.
  • Any amendments made by the winner after the booking is confirmed will be subject to administration charges, some changes may not be possible.
  • Some experiences may be seasonal or only operate on certain dates.
  • Some activities and/or experiences may have age, height, weight and/or health restrictions.
  • Transport between your home and the location is the responsibility of the winner.
  • All other costs and expenses in taking up the prize not set out in the stated prize description will be at the winner’s expense, these include but are not limited to transfers to the destination, additional meals, drinks, and gratuities.
  • Should the winner wish to add additional items to the prize (additional passengers etc.) then winners may do so at an extra cost. The Promoter’s Agent will advise the cost prior to booking: The Agent will not enter into any discussions about cost comparison or rates sourced elsewhere.
  • If meals are included, they may have a maximum allowance associated with them, winners will be notified of this prior to travelling.
  • It is the winner’s responsibility to advise The Agent of any circumstance that may prevent them from participating in any element of the prize, including but not limited to dietary requirements, medical conditions, or personal circumstance.
  • Comprehensive travel insurance is included and covers travellers up to and including the age of 69.
  • Winners are responsible for the behaviour of themselves and their guests whilst taking part in the prize. The promoter reserves the right in its absolute discretion to exclude the winner and/or guests from participation in the prize if any party fails to comply with the directions of the promoter, cinema or any company associated with the prize, or, if any of the party act in a manner that is dangerous to themselves or to the public or is anti-social in any manner or which causes disturbance or nuisance to others.
