From Monday to Friday, Alton Towers is open between 10 am and 4 pm. If you’re visiting on Saturday, however, the park is open between 10 am and 6 pm. Unfortunately, the park is closed on Sundays. 

Nope! Alton Towers isn’t a cashless resort. Whilst some smaller kiosks may only accept card payments, most of the site’s restaurants and shops accept both cash and card payments. You can even find cash machines at Alton Towers if that’s your preferred payment method.

Yes, absolutely! You’re more than welcome to bring your own packed lunches into Alton Towers to enjoy in one of the many picnic areas dotted throughout the resort. There are even water bottle refill points if you’d prefer to bring your own bottles into the park. Please be aware, however, that there is a strict ban on bringing your own alcoholic beverages into Alton Towers.
