La Maritxu is a family-run Basque cheesecake bakery founded by Lucía and her sisters, rooted in a traditional San Sebastián recipe that dates back to 1990. The shop specializes in one thing only: a crust-free Basque cheesecake with a deeply caramelized burnt exterior and an ultra-creamy, custard-like interior. Baked fresh daily in high-temperature ovens, it's available by the slice or as whole 8″ or 10″ cakes, with both plain and limited-edition flavours. La Maritxu offers a slice of Basque tradition alongside coffee and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
