Waku Waku is the UK’s first 2D-themed restaurant, offering a truly immersive and artistic dining experience. Stepping inside feels like entering a black-and-white comic book, with every wall, table, and even crockery hand-drawn in bold monochrome lines. Inspired by similar concepts in Japan, Korea, and Taiwan, the decor features playful reinterpretations of famous artworks—like The Last Supper and The Girl with the Pearl Earring—reimagined with cats in sunglasses. The menu features standout items like their signature Omurice, their Japanese curry bowls, and an extensive selection of nigiri, maki rolls, and gunka. Ramen and udon dishes are also available, offering warming broths and chewy noodles. With halal and vegetarian options, generous portions, and a welcoming atmosphere, Waku Waku is more than just a meal—it’s a visual and culinary adventure.
