Please Note: this 2 for 1 offer only applies to Ruposhi's dine-in menu, and cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount offers, such as lunch deals. It is essential to make an advance booking and mention your tastecard. The offer is not valid on Friday or Saturday nights, bank holidays or celebrations such as Valentine's Day or Mother's and Father's Day. Located in Drumcondra, within easy reach from Dublin city centre and a five minute car or bus journey from Dublin City University, Ruposhi Indian restaurant offers an exceptional range of authentic halal dishes from across the Indian subcontinent. Ruposhi has been operating for nearly a decade, and they guarantee that punters will enter with surprise, and leave with a smile. Open until 11pm every night of the week and operating a Bring Your Own Booze policy, Ruposhi is perfect for a mid-week dinner with a loved one, or a special celebration with a group of friends. The welcoming royal blue front of this intimate little restaurant oozes charm, and the inside offers comfort and character with homely baroque print walls and thoughtful touches such as candles and paintings. You will undoubtedly be spoiled for choice by Ruposhi's extensive menu, but don't worry, because the exceptional value of their food, combined with tastecard's 2 for 1 discount, means you're not limited to the usual two or three courses. It's not unusual to see regulars sampling two or three different mains. Their experienced chef cooks up some wonderful regional specialities, such as Anarasi Goldha Chingri from the Bay of Bengal: a sweet, sour and spicy fry up of melt in the mouth Jumbo prawns, fresh pineapple, garlic, ginger, tandoori mixed sauce, plum sugar and wine vinegar. They also offer the hottest type of curry served in Europe: the fiery Phall, for you to try at your own risk! Vegetarians can sample a mouth-watering selection of dishes, filled with tomatoes, paneer, aubergines, chickpeas and flavours such as cashew nut, ginger and coconut. The chef recommends Bhindi Bhaji: sometimes known as 'lady finger' curry - a medium to hot spiced fresh okra curry, filled with vegetables and flavoured with coriander. Another favourite is the South Indian Vazhuthanga: fresh aubergines, onion, garlic, tomato, red curry paste, whole mustard and coriander. Ruposhi's staff are renowned for being friendly and attentive, and work extremely hard to make sure all of their customer's needs are met.
