Indian cuisine still continues to rise in popularity in the UK, thanks to the various Indian restaurants constant drive to introduce new and exciting dishes from the Indian sub-continent to the British public. The brilliant little Indian restaurant Sanjha Chulha in Dagenham is no exception, serving a superb menu of authentic Indian cuisine with a particular focus on the area of the Punjab. Located conveniently close to Goodmayes Park in Dagenham, Sanjha Chulha is a real favourite amongst local residents for its great food and very reasonable prices. The menu is separated into vegetarian and non-vegetarian with plenty to choose from in both categories. For a meat free meal, the Chole Bhature is a must try ? a lightly spiced dish of chickpeas cooked in a spicy onion and tomato based gravy and served with a special Indian fired bread whilst the Daal Makhni is another fine vegetable dish made from black lentils and beans with a creamy butter gravy. As for the meat dishes, check out the ever so tender lamb with fresh fenugreek leaves and spices or the brilliant Sanjha fish curry with its aromatic spicy flavours. Sanjha Chulha is a traditional Indian restaurant in every sense with a simple yet attractive little dining room. Light toned woods keep things modern and bright whilst traditional red serviettes and authentic Indian artefacts are typical curry house style. Offering a friendly and relaxing ambience in which to enjoy a meal, Sanjha Chulha is a great little Indian eatery on the borders of East London and Essex.
