The Leeds Corn Exchange is the ideal place to take it easy after a day of walking around the city. This mesmerising Grade-I Listed building features a magnificent cross-hatched ceiling and many different independent shops to pick up some chic clothing, fancy homeware and more! If you feel a little peckish after all that shopping, there are some great independent food stalls to take a look at too.
Leeds Grand Theatre is not only a staggering building within itself with an enormous chandelier and finely-detailed ceilings, but there are also performances taking place here that will please just about anyone. If you’re on your trip with the kids, take the opportunity to have some fun at a panto. Alternatively, see a ballet show or lesser-known avant-garde performance if you prefer your theatre entertainment to be a little more highbrow.
No matter what sort of tourist you are, you can’t afford to miss Roundhay Park when taking a trip to Leeds. Be at one with nature and enjoy the park however you wish. Perhaps you love a good picnic or enjoy having a jog somewhere peaceful? Whatever you get up to, this park is one of the best in England with gorgeous views that span over 700 acres.
