Who doesn't love a good cocktail?

If you're a fan of gin, then you're in for a treat! ASK Italian, a restaurant that prides itself on putting local communities at the heart of its dining experience, has been on a nationwide search for the best local gin producers. And now, the wait is finally over!

From the 4th of April, ASK Italian is serving a range of delicious cocktails made from 51 different gins in 57 locations across the country. Each gin has been carefully selected by ASK's restaurant teams, who have scoured their local areas to find the best local gin distillers to feature on their drinks menu.

To celebrate this exciting new menu addition, they've created a Community Spirit cocktail menu featuring three delicious drinks: Lemon Drop Spritz, Elderflower G&T, and Pink Spritz. All of these are made with the newly sourced local gins!

To give you a flavour for their delicious drinks, we visited three ASK Italians to test them for you (aren't we lucky!).

ASK Italian Liverpool - Lemon Drop Spritz

Our first stop was in Liverpool, where we indulged in a Lemon Drop Spritz made with Liverpool Gin, paired with a delicious Vegan Bruschetta for a light and fresh start. For our main dish, we tried the new Truffle Ravioli, which was an absolute delight. The rich and earthy flavours of the truffle paired perfectly with the crisp citrus notes of the gin cocktail.

ASK Italian Warrington - Elderflower G&T

Next, we visited Warrington, where we sipped on a refreshing Elderflower G&T made with 3 Wrens Gin. We started our meal with the new Cheese Fondue, which was the perfect comfort food on a chilly evening. For our main, we opted for the spicy Luganica Sausage & 'Nduja Frilly Tagletelle, the ultimate combination of bold flavours and textures.

ASK Italian Manchester - Pink Spritz

Finally, we headed to Manchester to try the Pink Spritz made with 4 Sisters Distillery Gin. We paired it with the Pollo E Roquito Pepe, a flavorful chicken and pepper pizza with optional chilli oil on top. We finished our meal with the indulgent Grande Momenti, a delicious dessert featuring tiramisu, brownie, biscuits, sorbet, and pannacotta. So, so good.
