Her passion for chocolate led her to master the art of creating luxurious Belgian Chocolate Strawberries from home, but long gone are the days of crafting in her kitchen. Now, from a home-based dream, it's blossomed into a thriving business. With a menu overflowing with sweet treats, amazing sourdough toast and bagels, and real good coffee and smoothies, Signature Strawberries is one of our favourite independent coffee shops in Plymouth.

The Lake District is one of the most beautiful places in the UK, and if you happen to be visiting the picturesque village of Coniston, we strongly recommend you take a trip to The Green Housekeeper Cafe. The quaint English tearoom offers welcome respite for any weary wanderer who's looking to refuel. 

Their coffee is not only delicious, it does good too – it's Fair Trade, organic and Rainforest Alliance Certified. As for their food, all the produce for their home cooked dishes is locally sourced whenever possible. And speaking of their food, there's nothing quite as warming as a bowl of soup after a frosty hike up The Old Man of Coniston, or a full English breakfast before conquering the summit. There are only 20 seats inside the cosy cafe, so be prepared to take your coffee to go!
