This year, Prezzo is undergoing a bit of a makeover - and that includes its seasonal menu, too. Picture this: warm sunshine, laughter filling the air, and the exquisite tastes of Prezzo's summer delights dancing on your taste buds. To give you a preview, we recently had the pleasure of sampling some of the highlights from Prezzo's summer menu. So, let’s get into everything that we taste-tested and get you craving a visit to this iconic Italian restaurant. Dine like the Italians do.

There’s something about Italian food that just hits differently when the sun's out! That’s why Prezzo encourages guests to dine ‘al fresco’ during the summer months for a real Italian experience. They believe that dining is all about spending time making memories with those that you love, and their outdoor experience makes your meal all the more special, authentic, and - most importantly - Italian.

Let’s start with starters.

So, once we got ourselves seated in the sun, we ordered a few refreshing drinks, as well as Prezzo’s brand new oven-baked creamy mushrooms and mozzarella and tomato arancini.

A delicious option for the veggies amongst our group, the oven-baked mushrooms went down a treat. Roasted before being baked in a creamy cacio e pepe cheesy sauce, the mushrooms were bursting with flavour and even had the meat eaters wanting more!

Now, as for their mozzarella and tomato arancini, there couldn’t be a better option to tease the taste buds for the main event. For those of you unfamiliar, arancini are essentially breaded rice balls stuffed with all kinds of fillings. Served with pestonnaise, this starter was oozing with pure Italian flavour.

The main event.

We were truly spoilt for choice when it came to the main. But as self-confessed pizza lovers, we just had to grab Prezzo’s sausage and broccoli pizza, as well as their Tuscan BBQ chicken pizza - trust us, they didn’t disappoint. The sausage crumb and BBQ chicken made for delicious additions to their famous, doughy base, each promising a real taste of Tuscany.

We also just had to try their goat's cheese and roasted pepper salad. The perfect option for summertime, this dish was undeniably refreshing. With balsamic dressing and topped off with toasted pine nuts and fresh chives, Prezzo’s goat’s cheese and roasted pepper salad truly refused to compromise on flavour.

Something sweet.

If you ask us, no dessert menu is complete without a tempting cookie dough option, which is why we were so thrilled to hear about Prezzo’s brand new triple chocolate cookie dough. Served warm with chocolate sauce and a generous scoop of vanilla ice cream, Prezzo’s chefs truly did themselves proud with this one.
