Win an at home dinner party!

The Prize Draw

1. Participants who are a registered member of tastecard and make any purchase for Cineworld vouchers through the tastecard app between the period 23^rd October to 23^rd November 2024 (inclusive), shall be entered into a Prize Draw for the chance to win a dinner party in the comfort of their own home, with a bespoke menu for 6 adults. The dinner party shall include pre-dinner canapes, bespoke 4 course menu of their preferred cuisine, personal chef, clear up service and selection of fine wines and soft drinks. There is one (1) prize available to be won.

Eligibility

2. The Prize Draw is open to all UK residents aged 18 years or over who are registered members of the tastecard app, except employees of the Promoter, Cineworld Cinemas, their immediate families, agents or any third partly directly associated with administration of the Prize Draw.

How to enter

3. To enter the Prize Draw, participants must make a purchase for Cineworld vouchers through the tastecard app between 00.01 Wednesday 23^rd October (the “Opening Date”) and 23:59 Saturday 23^rd November 2024 (the “Closing Date”). Orders placed outside of these dates shall not be accepted and the Promoter accepts no liability for any technical issues of any kind that may prevent anyone from entering.

4. There is no maximum number of entries; one Cineworld transaction equals one automatic entry into the Prize Draw.

The Draw

5. All eligible orders placed for Cineworld vouchers during the promotional period shall be collected and one (1) winner shall be drawn at random, performed by an independent computer process, within 4 (four) working days of the Closing Date.

6. The winner shall be contacted via email by the 4^th December 2024. If the winner is uncontactable, does not respond within 28 days of being contacted by email, or chooses not to accept the Prize, then the Promoter reserves the right to select a new winner who shall drawn in accordance with these terms and conditions.

The Prize

7. There will be one (1) winner who shall receive an at home dinner party experience (the “Prize”) to be taken before the 30^th September 2025. The experience is not permitted over Christmas, New Year, Easter or Bank Holidays.

8. The prize includes:

a) Pre-dinner canapes
b) Bespoke 4 course menu for 6 adults
c) Selection of fine wines and soft drinks
d) Personal chef
e) Clear up service

9. If anyone aged 17 or under are present during the dinner party experience, no alcohol can be served to accompany the meal.

10. The Prize must take place in the winners home or garden and the chef will require access to an oven, hob and running water . Any other costs and expenses in taking up the Prize, excluding those set out in Term 8 above, shall be at the winners expense, including but not limited to, the cost of transport for guests to and from the winners address, additional drinks and gratuities.

11. This Prize is non-transferable or exchangeable, cannot be redeemed for cash and cannot be redeemed in conjunction with any other special offer. There is no cash alternative or refund for any unused portions of the prize.

12. The Promoter reserves the right to replace the Prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter's control makes it necessary to do so.

Winner's details

13. The winner may be asked to take part in reasonable and related promotional publicity.

14. Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion may be passed on

to third party suppliers only insofar as required for fulfilment/delivery/arrangement of the prize.

15. The surname and county of the winner will be disclosed to anyone who writes within one month after the published Closing Date and requests in writing by emailing xxxxxxxxxx with the subject line “Cineworld tastecard Prize Draw.”

Acceptance of Terms

16. Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.

General

17. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

18. The Prize Draw will be governed by English law and entrants to the prize draw submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

19. The Promoter of this prize draw is Taste Marketing Limited, trading as tastecard, Birkby Grange, 85 Birkby Hall Road, Huddersfield, HD2 2XB. The Promoter reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time and without notice, or terminate or suspend the Prize Draw at any time due to circumstances beyond its control.

Prize Terms and Conditions

Unless otherwise stated the prize offered is for 6 adults, all of which must be aged 18 or over.
The experience is not permitted over Christmas, New Year, Easter or Bank Holidays. The experience must be taken by 30th September 2025.
The experience must be completed within the time-frame stated in the promotional terms. Extensions to the validity of the package will not be allowed unless first authorized by the Promoter’s Agent and the organiser.
All dates and locations are subject to availability.
The Promoter’s Agent accepts no responsibility for any events beyond its reasonable control including the withdrawal of, or amendment to, any chefs, menu selection, drinks or other items. The Promoter’s Agent will use its reasonable endeavours to supply suitable alternatives in such circumstances. No refund will be offered.
All bookings must be made through the Promoters appointed Agent.
This prize is non-transferable or exchangeable, cannot be redeemed for cash and cannot be redeemed in conjunction with any other special offer. There is no cash alternative or refund for any unused portions of the prize.
In the event of cancellation, the winner or any other participant will not be entitled to claim any refund or replacement prize.
All bookings must be made a minimum of 6 weeks (42 days) in advance of travelling.
Any amendments made by the winner after the booking is confirmed will be subject to administration charges, some changes may not be possible.
The prize must take place in the winners home or garden. The chef will need access to an oven, hob and running water.
All other costs and expenses in taking up the prize not set out in the stated prize description will be at the winners expense, these include but are not limited to transport for guests to and from the winners address, additional drinks and gratuities.
Should the winner wish to add additional items to the prize (additional passengers etc.) then winners may do so at an extra cost. The Promoter’s Agent will advise the cost prior to booking: The Promoter’s Agent will not enter into any discussions about cost comparison or rates sourced elsewhere
It is the winners responsibility to advise The Promoter’s Agent of any circumstance that may prevent them from participating in any element of the prize, including but not limited to dietary requirements, medical conditions or personal circumstance.
Prizes may be subject to further terms and conditions of The Promoter’s Agent’s supplier, a copy of these is available to the winner upon request.
Winners are responsible for the behaviour of themselves and their guests whilst taking part in the prize. The promoter reserves the right in its absolute discretion to exclude the winner and/or guests from participation in the prize if any party fails to comply with the directions of the promoter, chef or any company associated with the prize, or, if the any party act in a manner that is dangerous to themselves or to the public or is anti-social in any manner or which causes disturbance or nuisance to others.
